Naomi Wolf has a powerful article in the Guardian today about the new US strip search law that really has me scared about the constant arsenal of law enforcement tools that are being stacked up to be used at anytime against activists. I'm not even talking about their non-lethal weapons. I'm just thinking about the intimidation and humiliation that can be used against someone that you can strip search for the smallest of crimes. Then hold the person indefinitely and jail them by proving there was a person of high security in the area.
